For businesses already using Tally

stays the backbone.
cync8 works around it.

No migration, no re-training your accounts team. Connect cync8 to the Tally you already run, and get sales, collections, stock and field work moving around it — visible in one place, without touching how Tally itself works.

01What stays where

keeps the books.
cync8 keeps the day.

The clearest way to explain the connection is to draw the line plainly. Nothing here is a grey area.

STAYS IN TALLY

Accounting of record

  • Statutory accounting
  • GST returns & filing
  • Ledger of record
  • Audit trail
  • Financial statements

Your accountant keeps working in Tally exactly as before — nothing about their day changes.

runs in cync8

Daily operations

  • Enquiries & quotations
  • Sales orders
  • Follow-ups & field visits
  • Stock, reorder & batches
  • Owner & role dashboards

Everything that used to live on WhatsApp, Excel and memory gets a visible home instead.

02How the connection works

Connect once.
Then it just runs.

The connection is a configured, two-way sync — not a one-time export. Once it's set up, customer and ledger activity moves both ways as your team works, and the system is built to recover on its own when something interrupts it.

  • Onboarding pull: your existing customers and ledgers come into cync8 first, so the team starts on real data, not a blank screen.
  • Ongoing sync: customer records, invoices and receipts move both ways in the background as work happens on either side.
  • Duplicate handling: likely duplicate customers or ledgers are flagged before they reach Tally, not cleaned up after.
  • Internet-drop recovery: sync queues locally and retries once the connection is back — nobody has to re-push anything by hand.

03How it actually connects

Built to sit next to ,
not inside it.

SETUP

Lightweight, not disruptive

  • Runs alongside Tally Prime
  • Windows desktop middleware
  • No change to your Tally version

Nothing changes inside Tally itself — the connection sits next to it.

SCOPE

Company by company

  • Multi-branch friendly
  • Multi-company friendly
  • India + UAE entities supported

Group companies can connect branches on their own timeline, not all at once.

CONTROL

You decide what moves

  • Sync scope agreed at setup
  • Manual confirmation where you want it
  • Nothing pushed silently

What moves automatically and what your accounts team still confirms is a setup decision, not a surprise.

04Straight answers

The questions accountants actually ask.

Do I have to change how my accountant works in Tally?

No. That's the point of the connection. Your accountant keeps entering and reviewing transactions in Tally exactly as before. cync8 connects to that data — it doesn't ask Tally to change how it works.

What happens if the internet drops during the day?

Sync activity queues locally and retries automatically once the connection is back. It isn't instant the moment service returns, and we won't claim it is — but nobody has to notice or re-push anything manually.

Will cync8 ever replace our Tally licence?

No. Tally remains your accounting backbone and system of record for statutory and audit purposes. cync8 is built to work around it, not instead of it.

Which Tally version does this work with?

Tally Prime, connected through a lightweight Windows desktop middleware. We'll confirm the exact fit for your setup in an assessment before anything is switched on.

What actually moves automatically, and what stays manual?

That's agreed during setup, not assumed. Most businesses start with customer ledgers, invoices and receipts syncing both ways, and keep a manual check on anything they'd rather confirm by hand.
